About US

Founded in 2022 by Father-in-law and Son-in-law team, Steve and James, here at The Little British Camera Company we're passionate about analogue photography and proud to help support the increasing number of photographers who love shooting on film; for those who are just starting out and beginning with their film photography journey, and for the photographers wanting to return to shooting on film and get back into their darkroom with developing and printing.

We also want to say a huge thank you to all of the film manufacturers, companies producing new, better and safer photographic chemicals and manufacturers of darkroom and analogue photographic equipment. These companies are re-investing into film and into the film photography community and without these guys, we'd run out of film stock pretty quickly.

The Little British Camera Company stock a good variety of films, darkroom and film development equipment and an ever-growing photography bookshop where you'll find some really useful and interesting books including many from our favourite authors. We're always on the lookout for great products to stock for you and will be regularly adding new products to our online inventory.

Once you get started with film photography, you might want to begin to develop and process your own negatives, where a whole new science awaits. To help you with this, we have some great film development starter kits so that you can easily process your negatives at home, along with film processing and darkroom guides in the bookshop to help guide you along the way.
